The first day of the Basic Workshop on Hematopoietic Stem Cells: Isolation and Characterization was successfully held, featuring insightful and inspiring lecture sessions. The sessions were delivered by Prof. Peter E. Lobie from the Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, and Dr. dr. Gita Pratama, Sp.OG(K), Subsp. F.E.R., M.Rep.Sc. from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia.
In addition to the lectures, the workshop featured interactive discussion sessions, providing participants with opportunities to exchange ideas, explore the topics in greater depth, and engage directly with the speakers. This workshop marked an important first step in strengthening participants foundational knowledge and practical skills in hematopoietic stem cell isolation and characterization.

The second day of the Basic Workshop on Hematopoietic Stem Cells: Isolation and Characterization featured hands-on sessions, providing participants with valuable practical experience.
Through laboratory practice, participants had the opportunity to apply fundamental techniques in hematopoietic stem cell isolation and characterization, from initial procedures to result interpretation. These sessions were designed to translate the theoretical knowledge gained on the previous day into practical and applicable skills. The interactive and collaborative learning environment further enhanced participants’ enthusiasm and engagement in exploring the field of stem cell research.
