Special Collaboration with IBHE SIGS Tsinghua University

 

📄 MoA Signing Announcement
On 20 October 2025, Master’s Programme in Biomedical Sciences (MPBS), Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FMUI) and the Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering (iBHE), Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Ari Fahrial Syam, Dean of FMUI, Prof. Ouyang Zheng, Dean of Tsinghua SIGS, and representatives from both institutions.

This MoA marks an important milestone toward the establishment of a double degree Master’s program, strengthening international academic collaboration.

 

 

🎓 Advancing International Academic Collaboration 🎓
Following the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between Master’s Programme in Biomedical Sciences (MPBS), Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FMUI) and the Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering (iBHE), Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, MPBS FMUI continued this collaboration through a guest lecture held on 20 October 2025.

The guest lecture featured distinguished speakers from Tsinghua University and Universitas Indonesia, who shared insights on cutting-edge topics including synthetic biology and AI-driven biomanufacturing (Prof. Xin-Hui Xing), iPSC liver organoids and cellular immunotherapy for cancer (Assoc. Prof. dr. Radiana Dhewayani Antarianto, M.Biomed., Ph.D.), as well as skin microbiome and aging (Assoc. Prof. Liu Xiao). The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Melva Louisa, S.Si., M.Biomed. from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia.

The event was further enriched by research presentations delivered by students from PMIB FKUI and iBHE SIGS, Tsinghua University, reflecting active academic engagement and collaborative research initiatives between the two institutions.
