Master’s programme in biomedical sciences (MPBS) – FMUI
For concentration/elective courses, students can enrol in courses of various concentrations due to the interdisciplinary learning materials. The MPBS FMUI offers 201 concentration/elective courses (268 SKS) from all concentrations that can be selected by the students based on their research topics. At least eight SKS should be selected from their respective concentration. All these courses aim at the development of expected competences of graduates as a biomedical scientist. The purpose of this integrated approach is to provide flexibility for students to choose courses from other concentrations pertaining to their research needs.
The compulsory courses are designed and carried out in an interdisciplinary way to provide an integrated curriculum. The main compulsory courses in the first semester are prerequisites in order to follow further courses from the concentrations.
